چکیده
Abstract: Aim: Finding out the biological sources is essential for pharmaceutical field. Materials and Methods: Endophytic fungus was isolated from Catharanthus roseus originated in Vietnam then identified by comparing, phylogeny analyzing its 18S sRNA sequence using Blast search GenomeNet. The supernatant sonicated mycelia were fractionated with methanol, ethyl acetate, hexane. All fractions used to test antimicrobial, antioxidant, cytotoxicity activities. Antimicrobial activities on Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Pseudomonas aeruginosa 27853, Serratia marcescens 14756, Vibrio parahaemolyticus 17802, Escherichia coli 25922 performed well diffusion method. In terms of antioxidant activities, reducing power DPPH radical scavenging assay done. purification methanol extract performed. purified compounds activity. For activity, sulforhodamine B extracts breast cancer cell line (MCF-7). Results: Fusarium solani F01 identified. treated cell-free showed highest wider spectrum than acetate hexane extracts. Mycelial these solvents did not show except extract. crude gave higher (1.416 ± 0.067) ascorbic acid (0.577 0.01) while others very low at concentration (100 μg/ ml). Only obtained moderate activity when comparison their IC50 (9.17 g/ml) (1.28 g/ Four that but there one compound effects MCF-7 inhibition (80.34 1.28). Conclusion: study suggested could give many will be a potential source Key words: roseus, Identification, Molecular analysis, Biological Extraction, Purification.

Cultural, Morphological and Molecular Characterization of Vinca Alkaloids Producing Endophytic Fungus Fusarium Solani Isolated from Catharanthus Roseus
We have isolated fifty-two endophytic fungi (AA-CRL-1 to AA-CRL52) from the leaves of Catharanthus roseus plants collected from different parts of Pune (Maharashtra, India). These endophytic fungi represented different genera and were screened for vinca alkaloids production using TLC and ESI-MS analysis. Out of the 52 endophytic fungal cultures screened, the endophytic culture AA-CRL-20 was fou...
متن کاملIsolation, Purification and Characterization of Vinblastine and Vincristine from Endophytic Fungus Fusarium oxysporum Isolated from Catharanthus roseus
Endophytic fungi reside in a symbiotic fashion inside their host plants, mimic their chemistry and interestingly, produce the same natural products as their hosts and are thus being screened for the production of valuable compounds like taxol, camptothecin, podophyllotoxin, etc. Vinblastine and vincristine are excellent anti-cancer drugs but their current production using plants is non-abundant...

BACKGROUND Endophytes, which reside in plant tissues, have the potential to produce novel metabolites with immense benefits for health industry. Cytotoxic and antimicrobial activities of endophytic fungi isolated from Bacopa monnieri (L.) Pennell were investigated. METHODS Endophytic fungi were isolated from the Bacopa monnieri. Extracts from liquid cultures were tested for cytotoxicity again...
